Ozark Desert
Ozark
wads of
unavoidable grace
the plain scarcity’s
omnipotence
that the wind turns
that the trees cringe &
crawl at the clay
that skirts away
in schools like
ghost trails
old wounds
the old sky opens &
the pinks cry &
the violets lurch &
sob
concert for
who illumes
wheat in the dessert of
being
a gradient thread
that every evidence
the impossibility of
boundary
